Clark County Fire District 3 provides fire and life safety services to 40,000 people in east Clark County, including the city of Battle Ground. We live by our core values of professionalism, safety, teamwork, integrity, and community.
These are unprecedented times for our community, nation and world. This has shown all of us just how critical emergency services are to the health and well-being of our families. In 2017, voters returned the fire levy to $1.42 per $1,000 of assessed property value. This was critical to adding emergency personnel, apparatus and medical supplies that are needed now. In 2020, voters supported the City of Battle Ground annexing to the Fire District. Operating as one Fire District is more efficient for taxpayers, and enables us to plan long-term for emergency services delivery as our community changes.

Property Tax Statements 2021
Clark County property tax statements for 2021 were mailed in February. Property owners in the City of Battle Ground will see a new line item for Clark County Fire District 3 on their tax statements. Voters in both Battle Ground and Fire District 3 approved annexing the City to Fire District 3 last year. Historically, the City contracted with Fire District 3 for fire service. Property taxes for residents in Fire District 3 were not impacted by the annexation.
